The Challenge
Honeycomb is an emerging luxury wellness hall aspiring to unite various fitness and wellness experiences under one roof.
I worked with designers from our DEPT team and Drawn Agency as well as a team of engineers and PMs to craft an MVP mobile app that facilitated physical in-person experiences, seamlessly catered to diverse user personas, while upholding the timeless and refined brand image of its physical space.
The APPROACH
We transformed Honeycomb's physical brand guidelines into a mobile-friendly design system and interface, starting with extensive research on behaviors, gamification, and color psychology. Through continuous discovery practices we designed multiple distinct app directions — community-focused, goal-focused, and offering-focused — ultimately crafting an MVP that seamlessly balanced user’s needs with Honeycomb's business goals.
the result
We successfully delivered a comprehensive and user-friendly MVP in 8 months that encompassed every aspect of the user journey (including 5+ third party integrations). This achievement allows Honeycomb to offer its clientele a refined, cohesive, and impactful wellness experience that seamlessly bridges the digital and physical worlds.

The Honeycomb App’s goal was to give a user experience that acted and felt like a support, facilitator, and companion to a user’s wellness journey at Honeycomb.
The app should have synergy and connection to the physical location, its “zones”, and reflect its “timeless and refined” brand image.
